For Nan's birthday we visited Nevada City. It is a quaint little town with many stores to explore and we enjoyed shopping. We ate a fantastic restaurant called "Asia" which is on commercial Street.
After lunch we drove North on Highway 49 for about 6 miles until we arrived at the Yuba river bridge. We took a short hike along the river for approximately 1 mile to land mark called Hoyt's Crossing, it's the original location where people crossed the river before the original bridge was built in 1921. The hike is very scenic and we enjoyed it very much.
